Golf Tournament 2026 Information! We are 5 days out!
Dear Rock Hill Classic Golfers,
We are just 5 days away from the Rock Hill Classic Golf Tournament, and we are excited to spend a great day with you while supporting kids and students attending camp this summer!
Here are the important details for the tournament:
Tournament Details
Location: Pine Springs Golf Club — Tyler, TX
Date: Monday, April 13, 2026
Tee Time: 8:00 AM (Shotgun Start)
We encourage teams to arrive early and check in at the registration table when you arrive. This helps us know you’re here and allows you to pick up your goodie bag and any final instructions.
Each team will receive two golf carts.
Format & Rules
The tournament is best ball:
- All players tee off
- Choose the best shot
- All players play from that spot
- Continue until the ball is holed
Gimme Rule:
Putts within one club length of the hole will count as made.
Mini Contests
We will have four mini contests during the tournament:
• Chipping Challenge
• Closest to the Pin
• Longest Drive
• Straightest Drive
Be sure to watch for signage and instructions at each contest hole.
Mulligans & Throw Onto the Green
Teams may purchase:
Mulligans
• Up to 4 per team
• $25 each
• Cash or Venmo accepted
Throw onto the Green for a Par 3.
• Up to 4 per team
• $25 each
• Cash or Venmo accepted
These options are a fun way to improve your score while also helping send kids and students to camp.
Weather Update
We are currently monitoring the weather closely and are in communication with Pine Springs Golf Club regarding any potential weather-related adjustments. At this time, the tournament is still scheduled as planned.
If weather conditions require cancellation:
- Pine Springs Golf Club will provide vouchers for a future round of golf
- We will still conduct a drawing for golf prizes
- Sponsorship agreements will still be honored
- We will post visible sponsor recognition signage on our Rock Hill Baptist Church property to recognize businesses helping send kids to camp.
- We will plan a Sponsor Appreciation Luncheon for a later date.
There is currently a chance of rain Monday, so please keep an eye on your email for updates.
Final Communication
We will send out more information as we get closer to the event with any final updates or weather-related decisions.
